Thank you John!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to John A for his kind donation to CERCOPAN. We really are in desperate need of funds at the moment with all of the new infants that are coming in and with the onset of our annual environmental education outreach programme so every single dollar really does count.

My name is Claire Coulson, I am the Director of CERCOPAN and have worked for the organisation since January 2007. I spend my time between Calabar HQ and Rhoko our bush site.

Claire, Netim is so cute, definitely Mr Personality!
Yes he is very cute. When he arrived at CERCOPAN he was almost completely blind as he had a gun pellet lodged in his skull. After much deliberation our vet Uche removed the bullet and his sight has since significantly improved. Whilst he still experiences some vision problems, this does not seem to affect his playing with his peers or stealing food from larger monkeys!

Oh Claire, how I weep for all animals mistreated and abused. Please tell your vet Uche how much we apreciate him (her?) helping this little guy. I have made a donation today, my only regret is that it could not be for more….God bless you, your wonderful staff, Netim and his friends.
Thanks Theresa, for your concern and for the donation. I will pass on your message to Uche I am sure he will really appreciate it. We confiscated yet another baby yesterday so be sure to check the blog later to hear all about J.B!
